Day 17: Wednesday 3rd April Pray for God to move in the Alpha Course.

The Alpha course is one of the greatest expressions of the Good News of Jesus around today. I thank God for the Alpha Course and the Alpha team who provide amazing resources explaining Christianity accurately, graciously and wisely.

I love doing Alpha. I love meeting and watching people build friendship with each other over the course. I love watching people who don’t believe in Jesus, being worked on by Holy Spirit through the videos and discussion. I love praying for people to be filled with the Holy Spirit on Alpha.  I love difficult questions and fiery debate! I love everything about it.
It’s one of my most favourite things and if I could, I would run Alpha course all day everyday 😊

Also through the Youth Alpha’s run at our church I’ve had the privilege of watching the Holy Spirit sweep through our youth, giving them great foundations for their faith. God is good!

At Community Church Blackburn we run an adult Alpha Course cycle starting in January to Easter and we’ve had over 20 people attend this year. It’s been a wonderful mix of different ages, backgrounds and spiritual journeys. Please pray for God to continue to move them closer to Him.

I’d love to run Alpha’s 52 weeks a year, so if you’re interested in forming a team or have a heart for this, come and see me.

Finally I want to see salvation and Alpha works! If you haven’t done one, or if you have friends and family, who you’d love to come to faith its a really friendly non threatening way of talking about it. Get yourself and them on an Alpha course.
